Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, August 29, 2013

Greetings friends, this is Alex giving you the surf report today. I have not seen the sun yet today, but the waves were looking good with a little increase in swell. The rights were dominating today but there were plenty of fun looking lefts as well. The waves were shoulder to head high with good shape from the light offshore breeze. There was only a handful of guys out this morning and getting plenty of waves, and more waves were missed...

Many good rights coming through. Check out this guy dropping into a nice one...

Then getting a sweet vertical snap. With enough wave power you can get to the lip with some speed!

Still there was a plethora of nuggets coming though with no takers! It was getting difficult to stand on the beach and take pictures.

There were a number of good barrels this morning. Check out this guy setting up for a sick one!

While the rights were more consistent, there were lefts to be had. Check out this local taking flight!

For a goofy footer, this would be a great day to work on your pig doggin. This wall lined up nicely for this lucky guy who was in the sweet spot for a while.

I made a rookie mistake as a camera man today by not finishing this sequence. I didn't think this guy was going to make it out, but he did! Sorry you can only take my word for it, but that was a sick one amigo!

No takers! This one was hard to watch go by.

Like I said, a great day for working on the pig dogging. This local found a sweet little nug.

Alright that's all for today. I hope the crowed has not thickened because it is time for some more of those rights to get taken by yours truly. Hopefully we will still have some swell tomorrow, so make sure to check back! Peace
