Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, August 29, 2012

Hola everyone! Brian here, bringing another fun day of surf here in Nicaragua, waves coming in solid again this morning around chest to head high and still seeing some overhead sets on occasion. Light offshore winds and and incoming tide, and the sun is shining. It's like Groundhog's Day here, people get barreled everyday! I was lucky enough and scored a few barrels myself early before the roosters where crowing! Check it out!

There was hardly anyone out early, and there were gems coming in all over the place like this one! Why wasn't this guy paddling over for that wave!?

At least this guy was in the right spot on this sick lefthander, the water color was insane out there today. Looks like water in Indo!

If you guys think you can pull a sick air, check out this guy out the back! Not sure exactly on the type of whale but it's huge! I missed the bigger air, but was lucky enough to catch him on this one. Such an awesome sight to catch one of the beautiful creatures out in the wild!

A different kind of creature relaxing on the beach, they're kinda rare around these parts, but if you see one in the wild, it's a spectacular sight...haha!

Another lucky guy with a sick right drainer..yew!! Sooo nice!

There were a lot of guys getting shacked out here today, I caught Carey, from Santa Cruz, feeling right at home in this sweet tube! He traveled for quite a bit too!

Going...going...gone

...almost out of sight

.....still in there

.....yew!!!!!  Jumping for joy on that one..haha!  Looks like he's super stoked with that one. Well, that's it for today, if you think you got a good barrel today, chances are we got the sequence.  Swell on the way, so get your step-ups ready! Adios amigos!
