Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, August 28, 2022

Brian Scott

Welcome or it should be adiós, to our last Sunday Funday for the month of August. As we quickly approach September (man I can’t even believe we’re just about to hit September) it seems like this season just flew by way too quickly. However, we had some pretty amazing moments this month alone. Todays waves around midday had a lot of people out enjoying the semi sunny weather and a lot of beach goers, doing the weekend as always busy Sunday Funday!

People coming and going and it we still had about 4 or 5 hours still until sunset time.

Carlos dropping into a nice clean little glassy bowly left.

The side shores definitely crossed or mixed up the what would be pretty decent lingering swell that we still had out there.

The tide was getting pretty fat, but some of my amigos said it was even more hollow and barreling on the lower tide. This guy sure wasn’t going to give up though.

Looks like we have a little it of swell towards the end of the week, but it’s coming with some onshore winds…. but this place is known for sometimes pulling the rabbit out of the ol’ hat trick and could change. We can only hope!

Brian Scott

At the very least it will look like this but with more swell energy in the water.

This dude found himself a pretty decent overhead sized left with a pretty good chunky wall that has a some potential to maybe give him a little cover up if he can navigate that double up section.

See, looky there…. that semi view of that wonderful wave pitching out is every surfers dream. Stick around a couple more days hermano and you’ll be able to pull into a much bigger version of that and get the full Nica cover up experience!

Rye Rye getting pushed in on her little boogie by mama, you couldn’t make it a Sunday Funday with out the family outings on this particularly special day of the week.

Rider, all smiles (sin a few front teefers) Tooo cute little Rye Rye…. before you know it, you’ll be out there with all the rest of your gremmy amigos, getting pushed into (little people) double overhead (3-45ft) sized waves!

Bro’s who know, always GO! Yeah Chris & Colin, getting their Super Sunday Super Sesh in!!!!! Alright my friends, our next Sunday installment won’t be all the way until September…. jaja just around the corner. Until then, have fun, enjoy, relax and always try and keep it Beach Style ~
