Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, August 27, 2017

Brian Scott

Happy Sunday everyone! Welcome to the Nicaragua Surf Report. Tis the day of rest and especially here in Nica, relaxation. Kick back with your bebida of choice and check out what todays surf was all about.

Brian Scott

There’s still some swell building, looks like it hadn’t peaked yet; but the tides can always make or break it looking bigger (or smaller) down at the playa.

Brian Scott

The tide was coming back up in the late afternoon, and so were the waves.

Brian Scott

Especially with nice nuggets like this every so often.

Brian Scott

There were definitely some tube worthy elements out there.

Brian Scott

All you have to do is be in the right spot and get that set wave of the day!

Brian Scott

Usually between 3 and 4pm is when we see a good little flux of surfers coming back down to the beach to finish off the day with a nice little evening session.

Brian Scott

Doesn’t hurt either to see people ripping, at least from my point of view.

Brian Scott

This is my favorite time of the year… most people have come gone and soon enough it will get (somewhat) quiet again.

Brian Scott

Leaving lots of room for lots of this…

Brian Scott

… and this

These trees are usually some of regular office locations. Looks like some people have followed suit in finding the best shade to hang out and document some of their friends surfing and enjoying themselves.

Brian Scott

This is why my office is where it’s at. This is right out front. Not a bad view eh?

Brian Scott

I met Luke on the beach today, nice guy & he’s a pretty big dude! That’s also not a very small spray. Nice one Luke!

Brian Scott

I had some things to attend to so I could only stay down at the beach for so long this afternoon, unfortunately. But when I was forcing myself to exit the beach, I couldn’t help but say to myself, ok I’ll just wait for one more good set, or one more good ridden wave.

Brian Scott

But it was pretty consistent and no-one seemed to be having too hard a time out there, so of course I stayed just a bit longer.

Brian Scott

Not too often you hear people say they find it hard to leave their office job, right?

Brian Scott

Of course the only thing that would make me want to leave is perhaps to go grab my board and go have some fun like this chica is about to go do!

Brian Scott

The beautiful waves coming through were too much to watch, because I knew I had to run, so I started to make my way outta there. But not before I got this guys barrel though!

Brian Scott

Or this super groms little air game he’s been working on here for well over a month. Keep at it little grom, you’ve been ripping!

Brian Scott

The ocean is definitely a mesmerizing place. Always something fascinating to look at, be it the surfers, people swimming enjoying themselves, beach volley ball, or even a pack of horses running down the beach during a spectacular sunset. The beach is for a lot of people, I think like a sanctuary and place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. We’re all drawn to it by some form or way. I hope you enjoy seeing our beaches and beach life through our eyes (in this case) camera and lenses, as this is what we strive to bring you every single day! The Beach life in Nicaragua - Enjoy my friends and thanks for stopping by… See you back here mañana! ~
