Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, August 27, 2015

Hola primos and welcome to our daily surf report with Parker. Unfortunately, the swell has not filled in too much so we are still waiting. Even though it was a little smaller, people were enjoying the warm blue water. See for yourself!

Before we jump into the morning action, check out the video from our 10 year celebration! We want to thank Mag Rock, Flor de Cana, and our owners for throwing a killer party. Thank you Chris Bowerman for creating the video with your and Clayton Kennedy's shots! Make sure you visit for our next party... You won't want to miss it!!

There is a group visiting us from all around the world including San Clemente, Encinitas, Hawaii, Australia, and elsewhere. These groms were ripping this morning!!

This group is with Surfline and they are filming for a video called "Little Wings." Judging from what I saw, they will have some great footage!

Kyruss King is in from Australia working on his portion. Not only can he air, but he can smash the lip.

Multiple times per wave! I think his long locks give him superpowers in the water.

A handful of the young locals were fascinated by watching kids their age surf like that. In all fairness, everybody was impressed.

I asked their film team what they put in their Wheaties to let them surf like that. He replied, "well some of the guys ate Fruit Loops for the first time ever so that's all they're eating!" Sooooo if I eat Fruit Loops all day, will I be able to air like that???

When they weren't flying above the wave and stomping every landing, they were navigating today's barrels. These guys can do it all!

Speaking of somebody who can do it all, meet our property manager: Ana Ruiz. She does a ton of work behind the scenes to  ensure your NSR property is ready for your arrival. Thank you for all of your hard work Ana (and your funny jokes too!).

It's easy to understand why these dudes are sponsored by Rip Curl, Hurley, Volcom, and many other brands. I guess they don't need sun screen sponsors because they can easily find cover up.

Normally, Nicaraguan traffic jams only happen when cows are asleep in the road... When this swell starts to actually fill in, please be safe out there!

Despite the swell being small, these kids were loving it! It was really cool to see all these young guys look me in the eye and carry themselves really well around me. Shout out to y'all's parents!

Sorry guys, I had to put one more air in today's report. It's secretly because I'm jealous they are 100 pounds and I'm 220 pounds...

Alright guys get out there and enjoying the building swell this afternoon! Have fun and be safe when the size fills in. I appreciate y'all checking out today's report! Adios amigos!!
