Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, August 26, 2018

Brian Scott

Hola amigos and amigas, it’s that time again for another surf report. We’re in super chill out mode due to the super small surf, but there were still some people out there finding some fun at the playa this afternoon. Check it out!

Brian Scott

Valen and her hermanas were back at it again, ruling in the small challenging little waves.

Brian Scott

If you’re gonna be a well rounded surfer, you have to surf in ALL conditions.

Brian Scott

Perfect form on a less than perfect wave… makes for a great competitive surfer.

Brian Scott

Definitely a good day to grab the old log or soft top.

Brian Scott

No shortage of smiles down at the playa today. Then again, its always smiles, every day.

Brian Scott

Back to that theory about being a well rounded surfer. It helps to diversify your board quiver as well.

Brian Scott

It also helps to to have a good board caddy. WOW, especially when your board caddy is Manny Resano.

Brian Scott

The little one of the crew has some pretty decent size shoes to follow in. Looks like Maxi is following quite fine.

Brian Scott

That and her coach has got some pretty incredible personal experience with anything and everything surfing.

Brian Scott

Chica Brava is in town enjoying one some of the best waves here on the southern coast of Nicaragua. Hopefully they’ll be around in time for that next good swell.

Brian Scott

This chico is making lemonade out of some really small lemons for sure.

Brian Scott

Adam and Jamie contemplating a late afternoon paddle out. Come on guys, get out there… it’s firing!!!

Brian Scott

See, Valen is making it look way better than it really is.

Brian Scott

When in doubt, just grab your trusty long board and paddle out. You might get lucky and nab a decent little nugget like this and make it on the surf report.

Here comes some more stoked surfers about to get their PM session on. Better get on it while there is still a little light left for today. Ok mi gente, that’s all I have for today. Look forward to seeing you back here this week. Bye for now ~
