Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, August 24, 2020

Brian Scott

Welcome to the Monday surf report. Still another day of onshore winds, but still plenty to be thankful for today. Check to see who was lucky enough to get out there to catch a few and also make the notorious daily NSR surf report.

You know Cesar will always be there, just as long as it’s after 4 o’clock and there’s some kind of waves to ride.

Brian Scott

Derek would be my close runner up if not one of the the “go-to-guys” to always keeping the WhatsApp lines open for the surf conditions every day.

Brian Scott

Well, look who’s back!!! If it ins’t Mr. Scotty himself. Welcome back brother! Looks like you’ll be needing your tan back, which should be in the next couple of days.

Brian Scott

Hows that tropical water feeling buddy???

Brian Scott

Here’s someone who can totally appreciate the tropical weather, water, heck even the onshore and prefect offshore wind days.  We’re like the Latin version of Hawai’i if you think about it. We’ve got Volcanoes, pigs, chickens, plumeria, and arguably some waves that can and has given some of Hawaii’s best watermen a run for their money (think the outer reefs here).  Jackson feeling at home away from home, minus the lava reefs at this beachie sandbar.

This place is like the perfect training grounds for the up and comers (who want to climb the ladder on the Jr.s, then Qs and finally the CT.) We’ve got waves for everything, from perfecting your turns, your airs but most importantly, your barrel game which can put you on some next level barrel specialists type surfer stuff and quickly with our consistency here.

Brian Scott

Cesar’s consistency with is turns are getting dialed in more and more every surf he puts in!

Brian Scott

Can’t you tell??!?!

Brian Scott

I…. errrr…. I think we’re all patiently awaiting to seeing this place return to the epic beautiful offshore wave magnet place we a love so much, very soon!!

Brian Scott

Until then it’s hit the waves no matter their abnormal defects at the moment.

And just like that, it was a Monday that flew by in the blink of an eye. But sure one heck of purdy sunset! See ya’ll mañana amigos ~
