Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, August 21, 2009

Hi folks, this is the NSR Family bringing you all the action for the Friday surf report.  The waves were super fun today, running well over head on sets but it was very inconsistent.  The wind was messing around all day long but we still scored some good ones.  Check out the lineup!!!

Today Lucha Libre got hired by two Brazilian guys- they were taking plenty of good waves.  This is our new friend Luis “La Careca” bottom turning a nice sizeable set.

Mauricio was getting shacked all over the place.  Check him out about to get deep into one of the many good barrels he had.

We also had some other surfers out, taking advantage of the empty lineup.  Here we have this unknown rider with a sick stand up barrel.  Check out the lip of that thing!!!

We found our very good friend Mateo “Guineo” at this spot getting some cool backside barrels.  Here he is getting deep on this one.  Hey Chewy, you just left and the waves got very good.  I hope to see you soon buddy!!!

Sometimes I like to get very artistic with my photos.  This one came out really good.  Don’t you think so?

The waves were a little disorganized but there were still some clean ones coming through.  Hey man, we got some killer shots of you if you want to get them just let us know.

David “El Pelon” Osiris was ripping all over the place.  Here he is with a cool off the top.

This is Samuel from Australia dropping into a sick looking left.  This guy was charging on the bigger set waves of the day.

That’s all for today folks, the swell is supposed to build for the next days so stay tuned with us.
