Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, August 18, 2009

Hi everybody, this is Miguel bringing you all the action for the Tuesday surf report.  Today were hoping to score a new swell but it really didn't show.  It was very inconsistent and it was not easy to make it out of the barrels but there were still some fun ones.  It was running about chest to head high on set with nice offshore winds.  Check out the lineup!!!

There were some nice waves coming though to rip them up.  Here we have this unknown rider bottom turning a nice left.

This is Matt from Fl setting up for the barrel section.  Check out the lip of that thing.  This was one of the better waves that we had but he didn’t make it out, we don’t know why!!!

The waves were disorganized when we first got there but as soon as the tide came in got better.  Here we have this guy picking up a killer left.  We got a nice sequence of this wave my friend!!!

A few guys were ripping all over the place.  Here we have a shot of this guy with a cool backside snap.

It was disorganized but we still had some clean waves to be had.  This guy sat up in the right spot and scored a few good ones.  Nice looking right, uh!!!

Here we have this guy from Cal smacking the lip of this close out section.  Nice move buddy!!!

We don’t have chicks surfing at this spot very often, but today this girl was charging out there.  Here she is with a cool backside slash.

The light was pretty good for photos this morning, making our job so easy.  Here we have this guy trying to get more speed to make it through this one.

How about Dr, Bill hand dragging into one of the bigger set waves of the day.  If you were out today, remember that we might have some photos of you!!!

This is Brat from Fl with a cool off the top on this left.  It is so nice to have you guys down here one more time.  Hope to see you next year!!!

Mateo was able to get into a few barrels today but he couldn’t make it out of any of them, what a shame.  At least Pancho got a sick shot of this one dude!!!

Pancho Sanchez paddled out for a while, just to get wet and shred on some small ones.  Check him out going big with a sweet maneuver.

Alright folks, hopefully the waves should get better tomorrow so stay tuned with us.
