Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, August 16, 2012

Hola chicos, Lucha Libre Garcia here with all the update for your Thursday surf report.   The waves were super fun today, running well over head on the bigger sets, the winds were nice offshore for most of the day and the water was nice and warm.  Check it out!

We checked out a couple spots during the day and we did score.  Oscar from Chile getting into a nice barrel section on this sick peeler.

Pancho Sanchez, Carlitos Caliente, El Codo Lopez and mis huezos took a boat around and everyone had some fun ones.  Panchito holding the rail and styling for the camera with a sick round house.

Auggie finding his way down of this nice sized set.  Stay in focus Auggie, do not look over your shoulder or you are going to miss it.

The lineup was kinda busy at this spot, but there were plenty of waves for eveybody.  Take a look of the scene!

We had a good window with many sweet waves rolling in at this spot and we were glad to make it there.  If you happened to be around this area today, let us know because we might have a couple of shots of you guys.

El Codo Lopez paddled out on his single fin board and he has a blast on it.  Holding the rail and trying to stay high!

A few chicks made it to the lineup and they were charging.   This is Amanda from Costa Rica about to throw this section off the back!

The waves were so playful at this spot, that you can do anything you wanted on them.  How about some air action?

Last shot of this spot goes to Marsh about to pull into this beautiful gem.  Woooooooooooooooooooooooo!

We changed locations and this is what we found.  Solid sets hitting the reef and a few guys that wanted to get some.  Aloha chicken de pollo!

Our man, Carlitos Caliente charged a couple at this spot and here we caught a cool shot of him spending some time in the pocket.  It is nice to see you back in the water Carltios, doing what you love to do.

For some reason it wasn't easy to be in the right spot, to drop into this wave today. Pancho Sanchez deep in the flats on his frontside stand!

It wasn't all about sick drops, nice bottom turns and some time in the pockets.  Somebody had to pay the taxes today and it was turn for Juancito Mathews.  Scuba diving Juan?

Shot of the day goes to Kyle from Ventura chargin' the inside barrel section.   We have a couple of sick shots out of this sequence pal, make sure to shoot us an email.

Juancito again looking down the line on one of the bigger sets of the day.  Way to go Juancito!

Alright boys, this was Lucha Libre Garcia and I am out.  Peace!!!

Almost forgot, we checked out our homebreak at the end of the day and this is how it looked.  Overhead sets, a little stormy in the background including thunders, lightning and a little bit of rain.  Did I say lightning?  Pancho gettin' shacked and not even worried about the storm deep in the ocean!
