Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, August 15, 2009

Hi and welcome to the Saturday surf report.  This is the NSR Family bringing you all the action from one of the most popular beaches down south.  The waves were pretty small today, even smaller than yesterday.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets with perfect offshore winds.  Check it out!!!

On the first shot of the day we have this unknown rider taking this one all the way down to the beach.  Good ride my friend!!!

A few locals were out taking advantage on some of the better set waves of the day.  This is our very good friend Chulin with a cool vertical move on this left.

There was not many people on the beach today, making it so easy for beginners.  Check out this guy looking down the line on this beautiful wave.

Calibilly Zapata was practicing some aerial moves all over the place.  Here he is getting a decent one.

The waves were small, so these two kids decided to watch the action from the beach.  Sometimes, I love to get some artistic shot!!!

There were some nice sets coming through this morning, perfect shape for longboard.  Hey Panchito, where is your big board?  You should take it out.

We want to introduce our new friend “Gator Bambino”, now he’s going to be part of the crew.  If you are in town and want to check it out it’s going to be on exhibition at Bambinolandia.  The waves are supposed to be small for the next day but we are expecting a new swell early this week.
