Happy Friday amigos and amigas!!! Well, things are starting off pretty good for the weekend so far… we had a little bit of some rain, but there were definitely a few little front runners coming in for that new swell we should see building all throughout the day tomorrow into the 4-7 foot range. If John had a song or soundtrack for all his waves today I think it would be ‘Who Let the Dogs Out? Slaying it buddy…! Definitely way bigger than this mornings measly little 2 footers with 15-20 min waits in-between eh Big John???

Roberto perfectly slotted in tube town and ready for the weekend! (*ed side note - Rob came in this evening and hit that shallow sand bar and popped out one of his Future fins. If anyone happens to see a blue Future fin, please turn it in to either the NSR shop or the Hacienda Iguana Pro Shop. Thank you so much in advance if you happen to come across it!).

I was a little delirious from being up since around 4am this morning, so I started to think I was seeing double out there today.

Brian Scott

See what I’m saying! Two stylish and super cool dudes, slashing their forehand in their own unique way, but looking eerily similar. Gotta love these two cats!

Once that tide started to get below the sea level drained out look…. things were getting a little dicey. Chris paying some dues out there today. I hope your shoulder and head feel better buddy!!!! Be safe out there on those low tides brother!

When in doubt, CUT IT OUT! As in cut that line like it’s a knife cutting through butter. Colin Never drops his wallet. He’s a gentleman. He just goes around picking up others who’ve lost their way.

Brian Scott

Cesar on one of the sickest turns I think I’ve seen him ever do! Yaaa Papa…. sick cutty!!

Brian Scott

Today the forecast was only saying 2-3. Thank goodness the waves here like be a little early from time to time.

This wave Tony’s cruising by on this LB is how it should have looked over all, all day today. Make no doubt, he’ll be on his trusty shortboard tomorrow though!

Just when you paddle into a nice left going backside and you think the waves gonna be a nice and easy glide….

Brian Scott

This happens!!! Yaaaa… pretty thick and otherwise nonetheless not really expected either… especially by the look on D-mans face! Close call on that stout little board breaker eh, hermano?

Brian Scott

Alrighty my beach loving friends. Tomorrow should be the start of some really really fun waves that will stretch all the way until the end of the month. Let’s just hope the weather plays nice until then. Supposed to be some wet weather mañana, but that’s not going to slow down Mr. Chris, so come on by and don’t forget to check out his always entertaining IG posts on the SurfNSR instagram site as well! Cheerios… or Fruit Loops at this point Jajaja ~
