Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, August 11, 2012

What's up people!?!  Eric here with your surf report for this Saturday in August.  The waves had some power behind them this morning, head high on sets with light offshore winds.  The water is warm and the surfers were blowin' up!

Pancho and I tried to go hunt some fish for dinner but the water wasn't as clear as we hoped.  He setteld for some morning tubes instead!

Hawaii kid Mason Ho was out there getting some sweet ones.  He did a huge floater on this section while Quesitos and I looked on.

Australian maje Chippa Wilson was out there as well.  About to put his fins to work at the top of this ola!

It's great watching these guys surf, every wave they catch they do some insane manuevers. Mason, getting super inverted on this backside air!

Local surfer Mario was showing these boys that he knows how to surf this wave too.  Pulling in deep on his backhand!

Chippa got some incredible barrels out here.  He would get so deep in those things that you would think there's no way he could make it out the other end.  Nice little foamy one here!

He would come flying out and just blast a huge air at the next section.  Chippa, again, flying through the mist from the offshores!

Steffi was taking some beatings on some of the bigger sets out here.  She had some good waves also though.  You didn't learn to turn like that on your boogie did you Steff?!?

That's all for today's report.  We'll be here tomorrow as always so be sure and tune in for another update straight from the beach!  Until then you all keep it real out there!  Have a good Saturday!
