Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, August 09, 2005

OK, so we've got some killer water shots sent in by Brent at Arena Caliente. We are taking a vacation this week (read: we are not in Nicaragua), but we hope to have plenty of pictures and reports sent in from our affiliates. Thanks Brent! We've got chest to head high sets today at Maderas and offshore winds all day long. Here is Gerardo learning how to surf with camera men in the water.

We think this one is Roque...

And we can't tell who this is, but it was a nice shot. In other more disturbing news, our main photographer Roberto was attacked by a monkey on the way to the beach yesterday. No shit. He got pretty scratched up on his arms and leg and went to a doctor today to be treated for rabies. All I received was a cryptic email in spanish so I'm not sure how it all went down. This country is crazy sometimes. Roberto, send me an email and let me know how you are doing.

This just in, more pictures from Roberto. He still hasn't given me the details about the monkey attack, but I guess he's ok since he's still taking pictures.

This always happens when I go out of town...

One more from Maderas.
