Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, August 07, 2018

Brian Scott

Hola! Cheers to another fine Tuesday and some really fun early morning waves. If you like this guys’ double hand stall, push forward to see how fun it was out there today.

Brian Scott

Top of the morning stretch to ya Señor!

Brian Scott

Not a bad view to stretch to if I don’t say so myself.

Brian Scott

Or even better, what a sight to see as you’re slowly making your way out to the waves as the sun’s peeking over the hillside.

Brian Scott

Todays waves were in the moderate chest high range. Super blue warm water with some light to moderate offshores. Oh ya, and it’s 6:00am.

Brian Scott

The waves should hover around this range with a slight bump here and there; then around the 16th, we’re due for another really decent swell.

Brian Scott

So you know what that means… the season’s still pumping!

Brian Scott

JG cross stepping his way to an inside micro barrel.

Brian Scott

Of course this size if perfect for either type of boards.

Brian Scott

But the Long Board regs were out there showing everyone with a lot less foam, just how fun it is with a giant plank and a big fat fin.

Brian Scott

John, not in cruise control mode. Thats a whole lot of rail you’re leaning into, amigo!

Brian Scott

The more versatile maneuvers on a shortboard might look flashier

Brian Scott

But if you’re having as much as Antonella here, then you’re way ahead of the game on any session. Nice one chica!!

Brian Scott

This wave alone kinda makes me wish I had shot from the water, maybe?

Brian Scott

But then I wouldn’t have this beautiful shot right? Hows them offshores though?

Brian Scott

Josee, giving them offshores HECK! Looking like she’s back on the slopes on a double black diamond. Well at least the name works here, but these definitely aren’t the Rockies!

Brian Scott

TR’s master class. Don't be tardy.

Brian Scott

This guy’s going pretty freaking mental on this wave for only being 7AM. Going HUGE at Dawn Patrol. SUPER SICK ONE MAN!!!!

Brian Scott

What did the Pelican say to the fish when he was running late for work?

I'll catch you later!

Brian Scott

Well, nobody’s running later actually. We like to roll super tranquilo around here. Just don’t be late for tomorrow’s report. Hope you all had a great day! Cheers ~
