Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, August 07, 2013

Hello NSR friends. Another day with small waves, good lines and light off shore wind. Nice water temperature on this sunny day. Sets breaking every 15 minutes. I don't think anyone will break surfboard today.

There were some small yet beautiful long lines coming through.

The clean waves offered rippable sections. This rider is getting his fins loose off the lip.

How beautiful is the off shore wind? Check the barrel on this left.

This surfer had enough speed for blow the lip and throw a gallon of water in the air.

There are new faces in the line up. See this kid getting a barrel sequence.

In this second shot, the rider is pulling into to a mini green room.

A mini barrel indeed, getting as compact as possible to scrape into a nice view.

Nobody can complain when the rights are this flawless. Not a single drop of water out of place...

And coming out clean. Nice one amigo!

Speaking of impeccable waves, the lefts had great walls as well. Unknown shredder coming into contact with the vertical lip.

And they kept coming! A nice set up for some more great turns.

It's always nice to get out of bed, get to the beach, and see waves like this.

The swell might be small, but Mother Nature keeps the sandbars in check. This surfer has got to be feeling good.

The Hacienda Iguana community is celebrating the opening of our brand new beach front bar with killer restaurant soon to come. We'll be christening the bar area this afternoon with a "goodbye to Mel" celebration. All the Hacienda Iguana community and their guests are welcome. We'd like to take this opportunity to give a special thanks to intern Mel Young IV for all the hard work on graphic design projects for NSR all summer, and big ups for all sick rides you had over the past 2 months. Alright homeboys and homegirls this has been Alex "no nickname yet" Smith and Codo Lopez with the your surf report for his Wednesday the 7th of August. Hasta manana!!
