Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, August 04, 2020

Brian Scott

Welcome back for the Tuesday surf report. Today the surf was even smaller than it’s been so far for the start of August. But that still won’t keep people from trying to catch some waves. The weather was nice and we even had some nice cool breeze in the afternoon… check it out!

The only two people out on the whole stretch of the beach were Fernando (pictured here).

And his girlfriend Danai, here. Pretty cool that you can still surf a surf break all to yourselves, right?

Brian Scott

After about 30 min or so, some of the later after noon peeps started to show up.

Brian Scott

Koji and Yuji both showed up too, but this time ready to play unlike their normal daily surfing routine. Koji here opting for the boogie / skim combo…

and later trying his hand at surfing on this micro sized soft top.

Brian Scott

Yuji on the other hand went for the traditional shortboard, but minus the fins. Its safe to say I think they’ve been watching some JOB youtube videos! Haaaa!

Brian Scott

Danny, with his fins in, making the best of the small surf. Yah buddy!

Brian Scott

Here’s Yuji again actually looking like he’s doing pretty well going finless.

This may have been the biggest set wave I saw out there today. Cesar stoke to be out in his favorite place and still able to catch some fun afternoon surf with minimal people out.

Brian Scott

Hey Cesar, raise your hands if you’re enjoying yourself!  I thought so! hahahaha

Brian Scott

See… even the newbies don’t want to say goodbye at the end of any surf report.

Brian Scott

Buuuuut, there wasn’t much out there today in terms of waves. There were however these amazingly beautiful clouds at the end of the horizon of the ocean. So I’ll leave you with that and I bid you all a very good evening! Buenas noches amigos ~
