Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, August 03, 2011

Hi folks and welcome to the Wednesday surf report.  The swell has dropped even more overnight and is now running chest to occasionally head-high on sets.  The wind is light offshore and the water is nice and warm.  It's a perfect day for the less experienced surfers and/or to try out an alternative shaped board.  Here is a shot of the best wave I saw this morning...

We want to give a Fort Pierce shout-out to NSR's first intern and our good friend Matty Craig, who is back in Nicaragua for a couple of weeks with some friends.  Here he is busting a "Jeremiah Air" on his first wave of the morning.

Heather made it out early this morning and was able to pick off a couple of the left wedges.  Looking good Quesitos!

The funnest part of this wave is the wedge.  If you get in at just the right spot, you can backdoor a nice little barrel section.  Case in point.

Check back, we'll have more photos for you later today!

The NSR School made it out again with a couple of nice guys from Arizona.  We changed locations and foung this sick beach all to ourself, nobody else was out.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Dave and Sherril just got into town this afternoon, and they went straigh to the beach with us.  Here they are paying attention really carefully to our man Oliver.

They both picked it up quickly and they had a great time out there.  This is Sherril doing her thing on this little nugget all the in to the beach.

Alright folks, that's all for today.  The NSR Surf School will be out tomorrow as well, god willing!
