Acapulco - It's ON NOW! So we woke up to a most perfect diving day this morning and Hot Carl is beside himself. The sun is out, the water is perfectly blue and the early crowd is here to cheer. Juan, the Lead Diver Captain we met last night, managed to get Hot Carl a one dive spot in the morning show (it helped that HC forfeited his $25 participation bonus). Here is the scene from the hotel balcony.

OK, this is Hot Carl, preparing to dismount. This is the lower platform set to about 40'. HC had a few practice dives with Juan this morning and ensured me he was ready to go.

Here goes Hot Carl, head first for the 4 story plunge. It looks like he's a little past vertical though, which could mean a very painful "back flop".

But NO, Hot Carl tucks and rolls into a front flip! Damn kid, that takes some serious Cajones.

Here is the final shot of Hot Carl setting up for the perfect, "no splash" entry. Very impressive my friend. I didn't know you had it in you. Acapulco, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

With all the diving this morning, we got a late start out of Acapulco. After one of our heaviest days of driving yet we finally made it to this "secret" spot. Judging from the sounds ofthunder coming from the ocean tonight...we're guessing there's some new swell in the water.
