Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, July 31, 2020

Brian Scott

Happy Friday amigos! Today we had some really small surf, but as always, there was something still ridable, despite the tiny size!

Brian Scott

Grab your favorite longboard and jump in!

Brian Scott

There was the occasional 3 footer and the conditions were super clean and glassy!

Brian Scott

The tide was almost dead low and everyone enjoying the afternoon sunset time could pretty much walk right out to where the waves were breaking.

Brian Scott

It’s a good thing to have a number of different boards in your quiver for this place. Different surf, different days, different boards for the right type of waves. John here chose maybe the funnest board you could have out there today.

Brian Scott

Chris smacking this lipper with authority!

Brian Scott

The other Chris finding himself a nice little glassy runner with his eyes on that upcoming section.

Brian Scott

Soulful and timeless classic bottom turn here by Derek. Sick hermano!

Brian Scott

If you could find yourself a barrel out there today it was a big bonus.

Brian Scott

The size was super perfect for the groms out there today. This here is Baldo’s oldest son, Mateo. Check out that style going backside!

Brian Scott

Little Carlitos has the eye of the tiger here on this wave. Look at that determination!

Brian Scott

The stoke level was off the charts today for the kiddos and parents alike.

Brian Scott

The family that surfs together…. ya know!

Brian Scott

This place is quickly producing a lot of up and coming little rippers and surfed out frothing groms. Always gotta take care of the next generation.

Brian Scott

There’s no better feeling in the world than this right here!

Brian Scott

Danai was out there catching some of the bigger ones (on a regular short board to boot) while giving the boys on the inside a little clinic.

Brian Scott

Like I said, everyone out there wading in the lineup practically haha Gotta love the low tide and a small swell.

Brian Scott

Danny finding himself a pretty nice wave here… let’s see what it will give him next??

Brian Scott

Ahhhhh Nice! Pulling in for the cover up!

Brian Scott

That’s it for todays surf report. Another beautiful day and the entire weekend in front of us. Stop on back by tomorrow for Chris’s Saturday surf report and happenings here in Nica-Land!  Adios ~
