Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, July 28, 2013

Good evening surfers and surfettes. Today we got some pulses of the swell that is to arrive and stay for the week, at least. It was waist to head high+, cloudy skye, off-shore winds, and barrels up and down the beach.

On the low tide there were waves grinding all the way through. These guys on the inside are getting an up close and personal view of a guy in the slot.

Here we have another cheeky right grinder. This guy is in the perfect spot, looking down the line for what is to come.

There were some wedgy lefts in the mix today as well. We were unable to identify this guy behind the curtain. Sorry buddy!

This dreaded barrel hound found himself on some of the better waves of the day. Here is stalling for what is to be a nice a one!

Don't let the picture fool you, Rob indeed has two arms. Looking to stall on his backhand and get some well shade.

4 feet, offshore, barreling, what else do you need?!

There is the split second decision of whether to pull in or straighten out. This guy looks like he opted for the ladder, and in return is getting taken straight to the gallows. Off with his head!

The guy on the inside has seen too many barrels today. He wants to get out there and get one for himself!

We have some really good sand bars at the moment as you can see. We have a good feeling that they will be able to hold for the following swell and offer up a-frame barrels like this one!

Okie dokie, Codo Lopez and Don Simon de la Salsa are out for the count. See you guys out there!
