Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 27, 2020

Brian Scott

Howdy Folks! Welcome to your Monday surf report. Today we had some really beautiful… like REALLY AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL Weather out there in the late morning. You might wanna jump in on this report as there may be an added bonus for your viewing pleasure!!! :)

Brian Scott

Philipo joined in on the marathon of really good waves today. Here he is almost finished up with his early morning start of surf of the day.

Brian Scott

The water color combined with the really clean and tropical blue skys made from some fishbowl crystal clear water.

Brian Scott

Seth starting his day out just right. Perfect bite size candy tubos all morning!

Brian Scott

Derek following suit literally on the next set wave after Seths.

Brian Scott

It really doesn’t get much better than this in terms of… well, pretty much everything.

Brian Scott

There were only a handful of people out, the waves weren’t super duper consistent, but as you can see they were impeccably fun!

Brian Scott

Lindsey’s surfing game seriously has gone through the roof with how much time she’s been putting in the water. Super sick turn hermana!

Brian Scott

Kenny full throttling it trying to get out of that roasting sun! Yeah buddy!

Brian Scott

If the waves are this good again tomorrow, then I think Hayden might try and pinch himself. All this surfing goodness could be a really good sign for what might be in store for us for August!

Brian Scott

Crystal blue (well more like aqua green) persuasion.

Brian Scott

Chris always stoked to see when the waves are firing right outside his backyard. Dude…. I think you’re either gonna have to buy Bob and Sherri’s house or jump on one of the last A lots! That’s if there’s still any left??

Brian Scott

Chris is actually a really nice and super humble guy… he lets his surfing do the talking and all his other action adventure thrill stuffs just go to show he is as real as they come!

Brian Scott

Matty having tons of fun on his twinny. It was like little skate park out there today!

Brian Scott

Well, after soaking in the sun for almost 2 hours and not wanting to pack it up because the waves were still pretty fun…. sadly I had to and a few more and go get some other work done for the day.

Brian Scott

It’s always sad when you gotta leave this behind. But Thanks for stopping by for the Monday surf report. Always appreciate your viewer patronage!!! Saludos ~

Brian Scott

HEY THERE!! How many of you were wondering about the part when I said that you might wanna jump in on this report as there may be an added bonus for your viewing pleasure?? Well here you go amigos! Today was such an amazing day of waves… I decided to go back and not only shoot the afternoon sesh, but I teamed up with my SO and we double shot from the LAND & the WATER! So here’s your bonus section of todays surf report! Hope you Enjoy!

Brian Scott

Mr. Chris going all in on a Playa Colorado afternoon drainer.. from my view.

Brian Scott

Here’s the beach shot. not a bad back up eh?!? Hehe

Brian Scott

Todays waves were fun, but believe it or not, yesterdays and the day before’s waves were even better.

Brian Scott

That didn’t slow Cesar down one bit tho!

Brian Scott

The other Mr. Chris as in Chris Russell hamming it up on this pretty rad little closeout.

Brian Scott

Here’s the closeup view!

Brian Scott

It’s nothing new for JG to have a couple different lenses pointed on him on one of his many surf sessions.

Brian Scott

But it’s always nice to have a variation of angles so he can look at them… its like counting sheep before he sleeps!

Brian Scott

Always good to see Sean P. taking a little mini stay cay away from his Playgrounds surf camp. He lights this place up every single time too!

Brian Scott

Completely night and day feeling from todays morning session and tonights arvo sesh. Which one would you prefer???

Brian Scott

Here’s a cool little “one-two” punch from Hot Carl.

Brian Scott

BAMMMM… Funny thing is, he just as comfortable in Giant Outer Reef barrels that will eat this barrel for breakfast!

Brian Scott

I personally like the contrast of this double angle of my buddy Marcos bottom turning on this wave. Who knows… maybe it’s that really cool catamaran boat out the back that has something to do with it.

Brian Scott

Quite the different view from my angle. But needless to say… I like them both!

Brian Scott

This has become almost a standard for the D-man’s bottom turn shot from the beach here….. let’s see how it looks from the water shall we..???

Brian Scott

Ohhhh…. come to me my righteous wave sliding friend!

Brian Scott

Another one of Derek’s stylish high-line slip n slide and into the barrel maneuvers.

Brian Scott

They’re beautiful anyway you look at em!

Brian Scott

Now here’s a guy you rarely see in any photos…. but that’s because he’s usually out swimming or taking his own magical masterpieces of surf art.

Brian Scott

Here you go my brother from another mother! SO STOKED TO SEE YOU OUT IN THE LINEUP, SURFING!!!! Now if I can get one of your shots with a similar wave of me surfing, I’ll love you forever!!!!!!

Brian Scott

The surfing high the entire day was unreal! So good all day long!!!

Brian Scott

I think I’m just going to leave this photo “un-captioned” as I know all you amazing surf amigos know what fits best! MmmHhhhh!!! ;)

Brian Scott

Aaaannnnnnd just like that, it was another glorious day of waves in Nicaragua. Thank you so much for waiting all day for todays surf report. I hope it was worth the wait.  I’ll see you all back here again tomorrow. Cheers ~!
