Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, July 27, 2016

Hello everybody!! Welcome to the midweek surf report with Parker. The waves are a touch smaller but still fun. Check out our shots!

Today and tomorrow are going to be the smallest days. As a result, you'll find rolling stomach high waves with sets in the chest to shoulder high region.

Alex Chapin still made the late morning session. He has been hanging out here and runs the new bar at Scoops and Spokes. Best of both worlds: ice cream and beer (just clean your taste buds in between!).

The Springfield family recently returned to town! That means Josh and John were in the water 10 minutes after their plane landed.

Also, Dan is back in business delivering those delicious pizzas. His son, Josh, is carving out his lunch time slice right now.

It was cool to see Josh and Alex out in the water surfing and smiling. Yes, the waves are small (but the next swell is on the way!!!) but they still appreciate what Mother Nature offers. You'll still find us East Coasters having a blast even when it's imperfect.

Besides, the sets weren't bad. Unfortunately, everybody was inside gobbling up the stomach high rollers. When the sets came, it "cleaned" everybody up!!!

In the shorebreak, a dad took his two boys out to surf. How stoked were you when you caught your first wave!?

I think this grom has a future pig dogging it. Check out that form, stance, and style!!

It's quiet around here right now- even the famous floaties at the Beach Club are chilin. Once we finish the work week and the swell fills in, it'll be more vibrant. In the meantime, catch up on work, Netflix, or take a few extra siestas.

Others are staying busy. We have a group of students studying tourism at the university in Rivas. Armando Lopez, Mr. Mostaza, is giving them a tour of the development, our operations, and giving them advice.

Yeah primos!! Thanks for spending the morning with us and we need to get you on a surf board soon! Study hard and make your Mama proud.

Ok damas and caballeros, grab a log or fish and enjoy the afternoon! Thank you for checking out today's report and stay tuned as the weekend approaches. Pasa un buen dia amigos!!
