Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, July 25, 2017

Brian Scott

Howdy surf report amigos! It’s Totally small Tuesday, but at least the conditions were super clean. Looks like we might only have another day of this small stuff, before we get another good pulse that’s working its way here steadily from the South Pacific.

Brian Scott

Brett making due with these little waves we currently have. He still finds himself a little breakfast barrel.

Brian Scott

Dawn patrol today was pretty mellow this morning. Everyone who happened to make it down enjoyed pretty consistent little peaky rollers.. also good for practicing up on them turns.

Brian Scott

Be it bottom…

Brian Scott

… or top turns.

Brian Scott

Sheet glass, and not a whole lot of wind on it this AM.

Brian Scott

I was glad to see my amigos Rob, his wife Louise and her sister Luana make it down for one more session before they have to head out today. Was so GREAT meeting you guys and looking forward to when you return again soon (hopefully) with Maya, so little t can have a play date!! Safe travels friends!

Brian Scott

Rob giving Lu some action shots for her GoPro swim. Nice spray buddy!! I want to see how that GP clip turned out!

Brian Scott

The big kids were out today, too.

Brian Scott

How fun does this guy make it look despite how small it is?

Brian Scott

JG is quite possibly one of the biggest groms here this beach break. John LOVES this wave, no matter the size.

Brian Scott

Coming in pretty much an equal 1st for frothy grom title, here Tony Roberts warms up his shakra and loosens his temple, before he’s about to go all Wing-Nut out there!

Brian Scott

Well, the loose reference wasn’t too far off, being that both style masters are from Santa Cuz. TR rips on ANYTHING!

Brian Scott

While I was shooting, I met Dylan’s (pictured) dad on the beach and wrapped out with him for a bit. Super cool family visiting from Maui.

Brian Scott

Little D is getting pretty psyched for this big upcoming swell. Hoping to get some killer shots of you little buddy, so you can have some amazing memories of your first trip to Nicaragua.

Brian Scott

There was the occasional 2 footer today. This guy just happened to luck out by finding the one good barrel I saw today.

Brian Scott

Well, scrap that idea. These two wave magnets means there will be more barrels (regardless of size).. guaranteed; because when they’re out there, there always seems to be some good barrels. Adios amigos, have a fun session and hope all of you enjoy the rest of your day! Time for me to head into the city while the waves are small and before we get our next BIG swell!!! Check back in to see what Parker’s got going on and I’ll see ya on Friday! Cheers ~
