Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, July 23, 2010

Hey folks, this is Lucha Libre bringing you the Friday surf report.  Today I took a couple photos early in the morning, but the conditions were not the best ones.  The wind was messing around and the waves were disorganized.  It was running about chest to head high on sets and a few crowd showed out to the beach.  Check it out!!!

I didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach today because I had to go to the airport to drop my buddy Chuck off.  He had to take an early flight so I wasn’t able to snap many shots from the morning but I heard it got really fun around 9:00 am when the tide was coming in.  Here is Dave about to get shacked on one of the better waves of the morning.

Back from the airport, the wind was kinda side shore but there were still a couple of fun ones if you waited.  Rick was playing around with Lucy, hoping to have better condition as the tide got lower.

The Beez, riding a nice looking right at the last sesh of the day, right at sunset.  Today was the last day I had to spend with the big boys from Virginia.  Hoping to see everyone next year, even Cebollas and Sitos!

El Juez paddled out at sunset as well and he got to score a few decent rights.  Did you like your destock background pic my friend?  It was really nice to see you guys again, thanks for everything because I had a good time.

Right before dark, there were some fun waves rolling in.  Here I caught this unknown rider with a sweet bottom turn.

We want to give a special shout out to Karla from New York.  She came down on a trip with my good friend Ted “The Bird” celebrating her birthday.  Not a better gift than a brand new surfboard.  Here she is riding a small but nice wave all the way in to the beach.

Here is Ted with a cool little air on this right, on the last action shot of the day.  Hey pal, your feet are totally on the board on this one, as you can see.

Alright boys, the conditions are supposed to be good tomorrow so stay tuned with us!
