Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 19, 2021

Brian Scott

Welcome back for another beautiful week of weather, surf and memorable times for everyone visiting Nicaragua in July. Today wasn’t too big, it was actually friendly fun, meaning great for beginners yet still super rippable for all the visiting talent. Happy Monday Ya’ll!!!

Brian Scott

Perfect day for this…. (*semi spoiler alert - but be prepared to see a little Monday magic from these two a little later on!)

Today’s waves actually fit the perfect size for more people here than you would think. Not everyone likes to paddle out and feel like you’re fighting for your life. I for one am over the whole giant wave thing. That’s why I enjoy shooting it much more now a days. Tati likes her waves in the fun zone like here, too.

The weather was about as perfect as it can get here today… I was talking with a friend earlier just about that and we were guessing it must have been in the mid 80’s with the nice cool, semi warm breezes.

Even on our “smaller” size days, you can expect to see the occasional overhead little sneaker set come through.

Sometimes a few times during your session actually.

Not everything in this world is as black and white as some people may like to see things. But I for sure saw this photo I took as 100% pure magic as Black & White. Ohhhh the arts… I love its subjectivity.

Louie is 100% all about color, meaning he see’s every color in everything he does on a daily basis. Well that’s because he is a graphic designer and a damn fine one for starters, but in the real (non working world) he’s about as color blind as anyone could be. He’s 100% human. If human had one color, Louie would know what color that is!

Surfers are a unique tribe of people. I think maybe some of the most patient when it comes to waiting for waves. But then again… look at all that beauty you get to soak in, instead of driving in a car on a 6 lane highway bumper to bumper, or sitting behind a computer, much like what I’m doing this very moment as I write this. It’s no wonder why so many people end up finding surfing and it can literally become like a religion for some.

Brian Scott

OK, enough of the deep thinking stuffs, let’s jump back into what we really all come on here to see. Some serious schralping!!!!

Brian Scott

I will have to say, the ladies out there were giving EVERYONE a run for their money today.

Brian Scott

And it wasn’t just one or two.

Brian Scott

There was a whole group of damas out there absolutely decimating each and every wave they caught.

Brian Scott

Buuuuuuuuut, the wave of the day (like I told you so earlier) easily went to these two epic tandem surf team with papa and his hija pequeña.

Chao, Arrivederci, Tschüss, Au revoir, 再見, Slán, до свидания, ਅਲਵਿਦਾ, さようなら, or Aloha. However you like to say your good bye, Mat & Sage wave to you a warm Latin American Adiós and thank you for coming by!~
