Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, July 14, 2021

Javier Baldovinos

Hello fans of NSR, welcome to another beautiful day in the land of Volcanoes, Lakes and many Waves! Check out today's report, it was impeccable!

Javier Baldovinos

Don't get too excited with the first photo, that A-frame could count as "fake news" because going right is a dead trap directly into dry reef... you can only go left here at Rosada.

Javier Baldovinos

Usually is a fast wave with some room for quick turns at the beginning but you have to keep your eyes down the line at all times to avoid getting left behind.

Javier Baldovinos

The inside section is where the prize is... it's hard to find the right wave but when it comes, it brings a great long barrel!

Javier Baldovinos

The (in)famous Pancho Sanchez has been riding this Beast for a long time, and as you see he's wearing a helmet which only means that this beast can throw you off and hurt you bad.

Javier Baldovinos

Old friends of NSR Ara and his daughter Savannah checking out the surf/ They drove everywhere trying to find a decent place to paddle out, but it was big everywhere!

Javier Baldovinos

This guy was having a great time, he figured out the wave and was getting some sick barrels almost every wave he got. Here he's slowing down to get in the right position.

Javier Baldovinos

There you go, after slowing down he got some shade and right away hit the gas to get out without a scratch.

Javier Baldovinos

There he is again in another little barrel. It's not that common to see these many barrels at Rosada.

Javier Baldovinos

Boogieboarder flying down the line and the lip deep in this barrel.

Javier Baldovinos

Suddenly a big cloud full of rain came our way but that didn't stop this guy on his mission to get barrels at Rosada.

Javier Baldovinos

What do you usually do when it starts raining? you find some cover!

Javier Baldovinos

Today was not Pancho Sanchez day... even though he had several great rides, he couldn't find the right waves to get in the tube. I guess you will have to surf more, right?

Javier Baldovinos

I know he is all for that idea, he's all about surfing and the ocean... keeping the dream alive! Cheers!
