Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, July 13, 2010

It’s been already a long day for us.  Lucha Libre woke up super early this morning and went to the beach to snap a few shots but unfortunately nobody was out.  So, Pancho, Quesitos and I decided to head out to the beach in the afternoon hoping to have better luck this time and get a few shots.  The lineup was pretty busy and the waves were kind of fun, running about chest to shoulder high on sets with light offshore winds when we first got there but it was turning on when we left.  Check it out!!!

I was walking around trying to find the best angle to shot from because the light was not good for photos.  On the first action shot of the day we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro with a double grab sick frontside air.  Chamorro’s bros know how to get super high, uh!  Just ask “La Baloy”.

Check out Hace Quesos sharing a small but nice peak.  She’s still surfing when she can because she has been a little sick lately.  Do not ask me why please!

This chick decided to spend the day on the beach and do some yoga.  I would break myself in two peaces if I do that.  We are going to call this one the TURTLE MOVE.

The light got a little bit better after a few hours on the beach.  Here is this unknown rider having fun on this nice form right.  He was so lucky to pick up this one.

There were a few nice sized waves rolling in at Machete Pt this afternoon.  Check out this boy looking down the line of this sick left hander.  I wish to know how to surf so I would score some waves like that!

Panchito Chanchito, I mean Sanchecito was able to rip on a couple waves today.  Here is caught attacking the lip of this closed out section on this left.  Nice move dude!

Since the lineup was a little bit busy, there were quite a few accidents.  This is Norwin “El Chulin” Estrella hoping to land safe on this guy and don’t hit the board.

On the last shot of the day we have this local kid riding one of the best waves of the day.  Make sure to check back tomorrow, Miguel Mora out!
