Happy Friday everyone! SBS here with your pre-(hopefully what will be our next)-XL surf in the next couple days surf report! Come get some!
Not a bad way to spend your afternoon waiting for that purple blob to show up.
I know many surf destinations that go flat for lengthy periods at a time. Luckily, Nicaragua isn’t one of them.
Even though this peak surf season hasn’t claimed (yet) it’s real XXL swells we’re so well known to get at least a few times a year here. The surf has been utterly fun and even pulsed many times since March with waves in the head high to DOH range easily.
You know it’s fun out front when you see style master Carlos “Button’s” Perez, cruising on a fun old retro swallow tail.
Just goes to show, whichever board you have comfortably situated under your feet on any wave, your surfing is only as good as your naturally gifted style.

Wearing a Metallica shirt while surfing will aways give you bigger turns and more spray. It’s been scientifically proven. True story!
However, that last factoid got debunked by Snoops, and they said Chicks with bikinis have bigger turns and sprays if they go to Metallica concerts! I can attest to this since I grew up close to the bay area and have a special place in my heart for Metallica.
Smaller, aqua-metallic blue cylinders on tap before things start to get really heavy metal in a couple days!
Fresh off the plane from wherever Metallica was playing…. Obviously!

Happy Halloween everyone! This Friday was definitely had epic moments at Playa Colorado. It was a bit lulled out between the sets, but they definitely delivered when they came.
Wow! A surprise gift for us surfers here in Iguana this Thursday. I was expecting the surf to be small, but this morning it looked really fun.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. The waves were decent all day long today. The wind was still, and the wave faces were smooth. The sets were head-high when they came.
