Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Hey boys, Lucha Libre and Eric Chicken de Pollo with a quick update for our Wednesday surf report.  The waves were fun today running about chest to head high on the bigger sets, winds were offshore and the water was nice and warm.  Check out the lineup!

When Lucha pointed up at the trees and told me that we were going up there to get photots I thought he was joking.  He wasn't, and barefoot into the jungle we went!  He ended up getting some killer shots! This is Dan, staying at the NSR beach house and surfing this wave whenever he feels like it!

All the surfing teams are already showing up for the Master world surfing contest at Playa Colorados.  Venezuelan girl so proud to represent her country.

Up in the trees while we were finding the shot, we came right next to a big bee hive and got the hell out of there.  Not before Lucha got one last shot of this guy ripping a turn on this left.

Safe and back on the flats we found some nice angles to shoot from.  Left and right rolling in down the beach!

Representing Argentina, 37 year old Martin Passeri with a quick sequence of a great wave.  This man has five national chapionships back home and is down here to crush it!  Check it.

Working on his backside tube ride.  He's gotta a weird backside stands but it work well for him, having his frontiside foot right on the rail of his board.  Look closer and you'll see what we are talking about.

Just a little deeper on the same wave.  Couple of shots later!

He came out of the barrel, generated some huge speed and here he is ready to attack the section coming up to him.

That's the way to finish a nice wave after you come out of a barrel.  Argentina is going to fight for the title for sure.

The lineup wasn't busy at all, we had tons of sweet and empty waves coming in by themself.  Check what you guys missed this morning!

Carlos knows this wave better than anybody else, so if you want to learn where to sit just follow his advices.  Nice little barrel section on this right.

Made it out of the barrel and throwed some buckets down the line.  Well done Carlitos!

Alright boys, that's all for today. Stay tuned with us.
