Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 11, 2005

We have waves today. It's slightly overhead on sets and we had light offshore winds this morning, followed by a torrential downpour this afternoon/evening. We found a new left this morning, but it was breaking so close to the rocks, we decided not to go back to visit Hot Carl's doctor today. Check it out though - piping!

By the time we made it to Maderas, the tide was too low to surf so we decided to wait until the evening session.

This is what happens when you wait all day to surf, but the surf never gets good. I went out just before dark, in the rain, and caught a few charity waves. This is what a completely black picture looks like after you digitally expose it. More waves on tap for the rest of the week so stay tuned!
