Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, July 10, 2009

Hey guys! This is “Chewy” bringing you the Friday surf report. The waves were really fun running around head high and EVERY wave was barreling! It was going off!!!!! The wind was offshore (I never get tried of saying that) and the water was blue and clear! Check it out!

I’m gonna start things off with an unknown rider cruising in the barrel! All we can see is the feet so I think I will claim this one for me!!!!!  But it’s not me.

Here is Ramsey basically surfing a boogie board and tearing the waves to shreds! Bad color choice but great board choice, that thing looks fun!

Here is Pancho, not on a boogie board, killing it! He was getting barreled all day! I can’t believe you got a sunburn, you were in the shade for so long!

Yes, I made it out... I took the pictures from the beach and got in and Jairo got this sick picture of me! Thanks buddy!

Here is an unknown rider who got tired so he rested his head on the wave. Bad move, you have obviously been drinking too much salt water! Luckily he made it out of the barrel and we have the sick sequence to prove it!

I fell down and pointed my camera just in time to catch this guy getting barreled! Sorry about all the sand in the shot!

There were some boats around today… but it wasn’t crowded so it was ok. Everyone got their fare share of waves, and noodle arms!

We wanted to give a shout out to our great friend Mike who made it out to the beach for his last day! He got married while he was down here and we were all stoked for him! Great barrel shot on your last day!

Here is “Taco” all rolled up in this barrel! All you need is some gallo pinto and avocado and you will have yourself a meal!

Dude Mateo you have two problems… One, you are about to land on your board. Two, you are pretty far from a hospital and you need to find a way to surgically remove it from your culo!

For the last shot of the day we have Larry getting his hair parted by this wave! After he dug the sand out of his teeth he paddled back out and said, “I think that wave almost scalped me! That’s it for today the swell is dropping but it should still be fun tomorrow! See you then!
