Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 09, 2012

What is up my people!  This is Eric throwing up the surf report for this Monday in July.  The waves were solid again today, head high and bigger on those set waves.  The winds were blowing hard but it didn't matter because they were the right direction... We have a change of pace for today's report, Brian took the water camera out and got some killer shots.  We'll give you a different perspective of a very fun wave!  Check it!

A couple guys were out there getting some shacks on their boogies.  Pulling into a beauty!

I'm telling you, from these water shots it looks like we could be at some surf break in Indo.  Check out how glassy and perfect this left is looking!  Nobody on her either!!

Brian was killing it with that water housing today!  Here he captured Carlos having some fun and getting some tube time for sure!

This is Shian hailing from the sunshine coast... California!  He's been staying a couple beaches down and making the hike to catch some waves like this one!  Did I get your name right this time amigo?

Mark "Mr. Brown" was out there and pulling in to his fair share of caverns.  Here's a quick sequence of him pulling into a drainer!

Shot 2.  Getting ready to slide under that lip!

Shot 3.  Positioning himself in the sweet spot!

Shot 4.  Daaaaannggg!  That thing is wide open!

Final shot.  Mr. Brown traveled a good distance more after this shot... before it swallowed him!!  You never know if you don't go though!

Pancho Sanchez got in on the action too.  He took a couple beatings out here today but that's what happens when you go for everything the ocean sends your way!

Sick lefts and rights were showing up at a couple different peaks, helping spread the crowd out well.  Check this kid taking a breath and getting ready to swim down while an unknown surfer cruises down a sweet one!

We had a similar setup as yesterday.  A dropping tide plus offshore winds were making these waves into dredgers!

We'll sign off today with just one more perfect empty wave!  There was still some swell in the water so hopefully tomorrow will be another shackfest out here.  Check back to NSR's daily surf report for all of the action coming straight from the beach!  Good work out there with the camera today Brian!  Adios todos!
