Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, July 08, 2010

We are going to have the second National Surf Contest at Playa Santana this weekend.  Make sure to come over and check it out if you are staying around.

Hi folks, this is Miguel bringing you a little of the action for this Tuesday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to catch some fun waves.    The winds kept blowing onshore today, but still had lots of fun out there.  Quite a good crowd showed out to one of the better spots to surf around San Juan del Sur when we have conditions like these.  It was running about chest to head high on sets and there were many walls to destroy.  Check it out!!!

Damn, another day of onshores!  What is this world coming to?  Actually, I think it's supposed to go back offshore tomorrow, so hang on a little longer.  Before we get to today's report, we wanted to post this photo sent in by our friends at Surfari Charters.  When the wind is onshore, the fishing gets good - evidenced by the beautiful Kristin Moss who landed two big Sailfish!  Here's a nice shot of Kristin and Capt. Lance Moss,  tagging one of the Sails next to the Va Pue.  Nice work Kristin!  Remember if you guys want an all inclusive surfing and fishing experience you'll never forget, click on the photo above and check out Surfari Charters!

Today we are going to start our daily surf report with our very good friend D-lite.  Check him out dropping in on this small but fun left hander.

Today was the last day for our friends Nicole and Pablo about how to learn to surf.  Here we Pablo riding on this little nugget.

The lineup was not very crowded this morning, we had about 12 or 14 surfers including a few locals.  On this shot we have a new friend Palo from Miami destroying the lip of this little wave.

Went we arrived to the beach this morning it was raining and Nicole decided stay inside the car, but later she took the board paddle out to the beach and catching some ones.  Looks at her riding on this little nugget.
