Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 06, 2020

Brian Scott

Happy Monday surf fans! Today was a great day of waves and everyone out was having such a good time. Nice sunny weather, nice cool clear water and another dose of fun surf for everyone to enjoy! Come check it out!!

Brian Scott

Grant kicking things off while coming out of a frothy green barrel with a classic view of Playa Colorado.

Brian Scott

Today was more on the rippable side of surfing. More shredding than barrels for sure, but when you have waves like this… it’s always a good day!

Brian Scott

D-Man, letting me know what time it is. Pretty accurate too!

Brian Scott

All the boys and girls came out to play today. Tati getting more and more comfy surfing the waves everyday. Building up her comfort level with bigger waves with every session she paddles out.

Brian Scott

John G. slip sliding into a nice little glassy right!

Brian Scott

Jenna, charing it on one of the bigger ones out there today.

Brian Scott

Here she is getting that much closer to nabbing her perfect barrel…. soon chica, getting close!!!

Brian Scott

You can always tell when Emi’s out there in the lineup. He’ll always send big buckets of spray but he loves pulling into big giant barrels more so, whenever they’re readily available.

Brian Scott

Young, old, middle aged, we had all age levels covered out there today. Yuji, bout to pack a micro grom sized bomb!

Brian Scott

What’s funny about today was the waves were actually pretty mellow and on the smaller side before I headed down. Here you can see that the sets were growing a bit in size.

Brian Scott

Devon, like everyone here, is always frothing to get a good barrel. This is the place for that for sure!

Brian Scott

Lucas is another one of my amigos who was out there for the come one, come all surf session around midday.

Brian Scott

He likes to surf way down on the south end. Looks like he knows what he’s doing, as he gets a lot of waves to himself since not many people surf down that way.

Brian Scott

When Emi’s not out there ripping the waves to pieces, he spends the other half of his surf sessions every day paddling out with his boy Jett. Check out Jett’s new board. It’s actually a grom size board, so we shall see how he faired on his new shred stick today.

Brian Scott

Jett has absolutely no fear, but I think that has a lot to do with his Papa teaching him the ropes.

Brian Scott

Here he is on his first wave on his new surfboard. Watcha think??? Pretty Amazing right!!!

Brian Scott

Another barrel hunter and always on the prowl, Rutci’s got the eye of the tiger….

Brian Scott

For barrels that is.

Brian Scott

She LOVES surfing this wave AND surfs every session with the intention to get super barreled!

Brian Scott

Man, so many local friends and amigos out today. I guess sorting my 3K photos I shot today, later will be lots of FUN! hahaha

Brian Scott

One of the very few barrels I captured today, was caught by mastertubes-men himself, Mr Mateo Blevins.

Brian Scott

If you’re going to finish off a sick barrel of the day, it might as well look like this!

Brian Scott

HUGE Feliz cumpleaños wishes to this young man. Happy Birthday Jeff!!!!

Brian Scott

Devin, leaning into a head high green gem.

Brian Scott

Followed up by this sick little turn. Super fun out there today, right buddy!!!!

Brian Scott

Hmmmm, I wonder what Tati is pointing out to her man Dario????

Brian Scott

Ahhhhh, of course, it was Derek catching one of the best bomb set waves of the day way out the back.

Brian Scott

I was actually packing it up about this time, so I’m super glad I turned just in time to see him pull into this heavy green salt mine!

Brian Scott

What a Monday it was for such a grueling work day hahaha - Jett all pooped out and ready for mañanas waves already. Come on back by tomorrow to see how the waves and all the lifestyle is for our Tuesday surf report. Thanks for stopping by ~
