Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, July 06, 2005

We've got another great day of surf here in Nicaragua. We've got overhead sets and the winds have been offshore all day. Today was Hot Carl's and Zacateca's last full day in Nicaragua, so we took a drive out to 4748's to catch some waves. Check it out.

Zacateca was on fire today, making the most of his last session in Nicaragua...at least until next year. This is the first shot of a 5 shot sequence.

The first tube section.

Exit first tube section and set up for the next.

2nd tube section, this is still the same wave!

...and a big "Schwacateca" on the inside. ZACATECA!

Of course, Hot Carl was in good spirits - again, sitting out with an injury. He started hitting the Smirnoff Ice early this morning, but as you can see from the photos, he never let it affect the quality of his work. Nicely done Hot Carl.

And just like that, three weeks have come and gone. Like good times do, it happened all too fast. Hot Carl and Zacateca, it was great to have you guys down - Nicaragua won't be the same without you. Until next year...
