Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, July 05, 2022

Brian Scott

Happy Tuesday ya’ll! We had some on and off sunny skies, grey skies, even some little rainy rains, but the surf remains small but the stoke level is always way UP!

Brian Scott

Stoked for this guy and his sick turn on a 2 foot wave!

Brian Scott

So tiny, kids were pulling cheater 5’s on their potato chips.

Brian Scott

KC & the Sunshine band said it best… “Please don’t go!” maybe watching it will help you remember this 1979 classic on this small but fun and silly day haha! (do it, click that link, I know you want to - just know that this song will be in your head for the rest of today!!!! LOL LISTEN HERE!!!

Brian Scott

Speaking of turn of the century 70’s, in case you didn’t get the memo…. polka dots are back in!

Brian Scott

And the more plank in your board quiver today was super ideal! HEY Cesar…. look I found your Doppelgänger! jajaja

Brian Scott

But Nam, if you ever wanted to see how you look surfing regular footed… well here you go!

Brian Scott

It’s hunting season here in Nicaragua. Unfortunately today there just wasn’t any game out slaying.

Brian Scott

Here’s one of the only lucky surfers to catch anything close to a barrel today, but We’ll take it!!!

Brian Scott

Here’s Derek “Habanero Chilé Cabro” Thomas lighting up his last bit of fireworks that he had leftover from yesterdays 4th of July celebration festivities!

Brian Scott

Ground control to major Tom, there will be no lift off’s today, but we do have glide control!

Brian Scott

Yeeeeah PROPS to this little lady, straight legit stand up surfing on a boogie! YES… I love creativeness on these small days.

Brian Scott

Proof that surfing is the ULTIMATE happiest activity you can do on the planet! Look at that smile on a 1 foot wave!

Brian Scott

Jason and the get fresh crew! jaja look at that little gordito, que guapo!!!

Brian Scott

Small and nearly flat…. time to kick your heels up!

Brian Scott

Sorry D - but you’ve got a new nickname with that red hot fire twinny, now. Habanero Chilé Cabro on fuego!

Brian Scott

It’s all an illusion…. really!

Brian Scott

Reality (for a moment) and a whole lot of water out there!!!!

Brian Scott

And just like that, it’s time for that long hot really rough and rugged (super sharp on them feets) walk back to Gigante after shredding todays 1-2 foot super fun waves! Don’t worry my friends, there’s some swell on the semi long range forecast, so don’t give up hope just yet. SBS is out for this Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by ~
