Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 02, 2018

Javier Baldovinos

Hey everyone, welcome to another week of surfing in Nicaragua. What better way to start your week with some stretching to get ready for the next few days of some serious waves?

Javier Baldovinos

I went to Santana early in the morning trying to get some photos before the tide got to low.

Javier Baldovinos

I got to the beach right on time but there was barely a couple of surfers, and the waves were scarce so there were long periods of just waiting.

Javier Baldovinos

I think this is Wyatt from the Surf Sanctuary leading the dawn patrol today.

Javier Baldovinos

While waiting for the set waves to come I got distracted with this little fella searching for food.

Javier Baldovinos

The waves were small and soft but with some walls to smack.

Javier Baldovinos

The tide was getting low so I decided to go visit some NSR clients at Hacienda Iguana.

Javier Baldovinos

After visiting and chatting with all the clients staying in our properties I went to check out Colorado… there was a side shore that was messing with the waves.

Javier Baldovinos

It’s crazy to see Colorado’s Club House this empty in the middle of the afternoon!

Javier Baldovinos

You could be surfing with nobody around… or just sitting on this lounging chairs while watching the surf.

Javier Baldovinos

What about drinking a cold Victoria beer sitting on the rocking chairs next to the beach.

Javier Baldovinos

Or just sitting at the bar drinking some fancy tropical drinks.

Javier Baldovinos

Again, you could be enjoying the waves like this guy almost all by yourself.

Javier Baldovinos

Just you and your two friends... and all the waves you want all day long!

Javier Baldovinos

How about some close out barrels?

Javier Baldovinos

Stay tune because it is supposed to get bigger tomorrow and reach thepeak of the swell on Thursday. It's going to be good!

Saludos!
