Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, July 01, 2018

Brian Scott

Hola and Happy Sunday all you surfing fanatics. Wow, how were those waves from yesterday? I’m still buzzing from all of the good times shared out there in the lineup with all of my amigos. Today we had some more fun waves…. definitely dipped a little in swell, but the crowd or what little crowd we did have yesterday dropped off as well. Let’s see what today looked like shall we.

Brian Scott

Like I mentioned, pretty empty today. Then again, this was around 7:30am, so maybe everyone had just as big a night as the did waves yesterday.

Brian Scott

Ahhhh!! The one solid I can count on seeing every morning. BARRY!

Brian Scott

I wasn’t kidding in yesterdays report when I said said Barry likes to get barrels for breakfast.

Brian Scott

I think this kid is trying to follow in Barry’s meal plan.

Brian Scott

What do ya think???

Brian Scott

For only having about 4 or 5 guys out, I think I might have to get up early and surf for myself. Being that I am free all day mañana.

Brian Scott

Even if it looks like this again tomorrow, I’d be pretty stoked.

Brian Scott

I bet this kid is stoked to be surfing a practically empty lineup all to himself.

Brian Scott

Looks like this guy up the way is having a ball all alone up there at the reef.

Weird this photo looks almost reminiscent back of where I used to live in CA that had oil derelicts out on the horizon. Only this water is warmer than any of California’s best day on a hot day and that’s not an oil derelict, but a hug fishing vessel actually. Man, how many fishies you think that thing’s bringing in each cargo net??? That boat’s massive!

Brian Scott

Robby Dull on a massive set wave. Ok, but it is the biggest wave I saw from today.

The man behind the Shapeshifter, shapeshifting the face of this wave.

Well, today’s report wasn’t anything close to yesterdays, BUT stay peeled for later this week’s nice new big swell. Should be firing again soon!! Cheers ~
