Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, June 29, 2018

Brian Scott

Que onda, bienvenido al reporte de las olas del viernes!

Brian Scott

Just another fun days for waves and semi-empty lineups. About 6 people out this morning.

Brian Scott

Nice clean, empty shoulders for the taking. Anyone up for it, besides this guy??

Brian Scott

Although we’re on the small side of the swell right now, we have some bigger surf coming in soon.

Brian Scott

John uses the fresh crispy water in the morning to help wake up.

Brian Scott

But to get the adrenaline going, he takes a little froth on his morning coffee late’s!

Brian Scott

Only six people out and this still happens. That’s right, it happens, BUT I wonder what the statistics are of how many surfers crossing the road get hit by a car? I bet they look both ways for that scenario…. just a thought?

Brian Scott

I guess if you’re gonna drop in, it always feels better for everyone if the guy dropping in at least makes the wave. The one who kooks it always makes it feel so much more painful to watch.

Brian Scott

Never mind that closeout… this photo is strictly to be used for the purpose of showing how nice the offshores were this early morning.

Brian Scott

Of course the occasional outside set always throws everyone off guard and they all wish they had been sitting just a little further out.

Brian Scott

There are a lot of places to find cool artisan collectables made by hand by the Nicaraguan people here. In this case Tyson might need to find a new wallet.

Brian Scott

Aside from dropping the wallet on that last sick little layback, here he has been working on his prowess barrel riding skills like a madman.

Brian Scott

This unknown dude as well. At least while it’s small. Wait til we get our next juicy well amigo! You’re gonna be stoked!!

Brian Scott

Popping airs with colors that pop always makes for good photos!

Brian Scott

Empty barrels… it’s what’s for breakfast most days around here.
