Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, June 28, 2010

The wind keeps blowing onshore today, so we decided to hang out around the bay in San Juan del Sur and take a couple shots.  The town is kind of mellow right now, after the big parties we had last week celebrating San Juan del Sur day.  The surf was kind of fun out front, running about waist to chest high on sets.  Check it out!!!

Bunch of locals jumped out in the water to take advantage in the lineup.  This is Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe doing his best to make a couple of cool turns on this left.

As we said before everybody wanted to get wet and score a few fun ones.  Probably many of you guys know this local “ -----“.  He was very famous couple years ago!

Mostly all the dogs like to play on the beach, and today some of them were out at the bay.  What is that boy looking for?  Keep an eye on him!!!

You guys already know that many people come down on weekends to the bay, to hang out, have a couple of drinks and a great meal.  Today it is Monday but we already have some people on the beach.  Here we have a shot of the scene.

We had a few nice and clean waves rolling in and this guy score some of them.  We are not kidding you, this wave was at the bay!

This is Lucha’s oldest daughter Dagne having fun on her pink bike.  She is only 5 years old and she knows how to ride that thing.  That’s kind of sick, uh!

Gerson “El Botetas” was ripping it up all over the place today.  Here he is with a small but cool off the top on this right.

The wind is supposed to be still onshore for the next few days but we expecting to get back to regular winds when the new swell hit us!  Stay tuned with us.
