A recent heavy rain left our rivers and estuaries full, and this one opened up just a couple days ago dumping a couple tons of sand on the bars. We are all looking forward to the next real swell to see what gifts the rain gods have bestowed.

Oscar was out there laying down some rail. We love watching this kid surf. He's quick and creative and a master in the barrel on his backhand. He's still only 15 years old.

We'd like to take a moment to give a big shout out to a great group of guys from California who have been with us for a week. They head out tomorrow, but have really enjoyed their time with stay at the NSR Beach House, surfing with Nicaraguan surfing legend Olivier Solis and receiving top notch photo documentation by Brian Scott of Nica Shots.
