Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, June 13, 2009

What’s happening everybody!? Welcome to the Saturday surf report! Jeremiah “Chewy” had the most challenging day yet. He took a full set of water shots for clients! The waves were over head with fickle wind. It was tough, but check out all the sick shots he got!

The crew from San Francisco was doing the thing again! Here is Bryan pulling into a sick one. The wind was offshore early, but as the day went on the wind changed and the waves got kinda unruly!

Sam from Ripzone stuck around to try and catch the swell as it filled in! Any other person would have been bummed about the bad wind, but Sam was all smiles and charging as usual. Here he is about pull in to a meaty section!

Speaking of meaty sections… Even with semi good surf there was still some burning to be done out there. Dude, in Jax beach, fists would have been thrown!

So, there were some waves that were for sure getting square! Here is Cory dropping into a nug! His shirt was torn from his body on this wave and consumed by the waves of Nicaragua!

Sam wasn’t the only one from Ripzone to hang out a lil’ longer. Here is Scott, grief stricken cuz he won’t be able to hang out with the gorgeous looking interns any longer.

Bryan was putting on a clinic out there on airs. Here he is, text book and tail high, flying through this section!

So, this is the Dan the “Wild Cat” of the crew! Before this wave he went face first into the ground and scraped the skin right off his nose. Even with the injury he stayed out to get some barrels! Alright, the wind is looking kinda of weird for the next few days so keep your fingers crossed and we’ll be in the water! Later!
