Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, June 12, 2008

This Jairo “Come Pan” Panic and Mateo “Pledge” with the Thursday surf report. The swell dropped off a lot, it was only about waist to stomach high with offshore wind. When we first got to the beach it was raining pretty bad, but it backed off after a while and turned out to be pretty fun. Check it out!

The first surfing shot is of Oscar “Freaky” Dangla who was getting bunch of good waves today. This is “Freaky” getting a little freaky with a sweet off the lip.

Here is Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamarro getting himself into quite the interesting situation. He was practicing for the up coming contest this weekend.  He said he needs to work on his ability to turn on a dime with little notice. So as you can see, he successfully escaped hitting two different people! Nice!!!

The “Pledge” got to go surfing again today, so you know he was stoked. Here he is working a mushy insider for all it worth.

This is our new friend Sean Pearson who is from Oceanside, California. He was out there just killing it and he is only 16 years old. He is going to be here for about one month, so it will be cool to see how much he improves.

So not only does Sean rip in the water, but I think he could start his own dance school here in San Juan. He has already been a big hit in the discoteca with this move! Va Pue mi amigo!

The final shot we have for today is showing us some interesting wildlife at the beach. Good job capturing the nature “Come Pan!” Well the waves should be alright tomorrow, so check back!
