Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, June 10, 2020

Javier Baldovinos

Hello everyone, this is Baldo on surf report duties today, and every Wednesday. Check out Colorado in the afternoon, there was a slightly onshore that didn't affect the waves that much, have a peek!

Javier Baldovinos

There were some little drainers that had the potential of producing a great barrel but there were not any takers to try them near by.

Javier Baldovinos

The waves were almost glassy, they had a very smooth look.

A few surfers got all excited looking at the conditions and everyone was kind of in a hurry to get wet.

Javier Baldovinos

Graham was one of them... he didn't waste any time and started catching waves right away.

Javier Baldovinos

Another of the excited surfers was Colin which is not a surprise at all because he usually surfs on any conditions. Check him out on a super late drop!

Javier Baldovinos

It was hard to find barrels in these conditions but it allowed more versatility, more rail to rail work.

Javier Baldovinos

Here is Graham with a great demonstration of his rail work, digging deep on his backside.

In days like this when can't get under the lip, you just have to smack the lips as often as you can.

Javier Baldovinos

The night rains have brought a few new elements in the lineup. Be aware on every session during rainy season, you don't want to get hurt or damage your stick by hitting one of these.

Javier Baldovinos

Check it out! someone got barreled! Well, this is Colorado after all... known for its hollowed waves and plenty of good surfers ready to get in there.

Javier Baldovinos

No, this is not staged... this is just a great setup from a visitor, but it shows exactly what we all should be doing soon when the airlines and travel open up again, once we all figure out how to deal with the pandemic. In the mean time, keep enjoying NSR's Surf Report!

Javier Baldovinos

Looks like it's going to rain again tonight, I should head back home and write the report fast (as I did), in case the power (and/or the internet) goes out. Stay safe and keep it cool!
