Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, June 10, 2013

Second day of action at the ISA World Junior Championship at Playa Jiquiliste.  Head high waves on the bigger sets, nice offshore winds, partly cloudy all day, with some rain at some point and the water was nice.  Check it out!!!

First and most important part of the day for Nicaragua was the sweet heats that took Jackson Obando and Kevin Cortez to the next round.  They have first and second in their heats.

Jackson sharing his experience with the camera.  Well done Chelito!

We have to say that we had a crazy ripping day.  Competition is getting better and you can see it in the lineup.

All the kids are throwing some huge maneuvers and flying all over the place.  Holly Guacamoleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Team Hawaii looking solid, for sure one of the teams to beat!

Team Peru have some sick surfers as well.  Junino Urcia with a sick turn!

Just another sick hack to show.  These guys know how is done for sure!

Did we say something about ripper's day?  OMG, tail out and he landed it, believe it or not!

There were also some kids going big with some huge floaters.  No kidding, uh!

The girls had some action as well, and they were showin' some nice performance.  Check out this one showing us how is done on her backside.

The girls were also ripping hard on their frontside.  Very high level!

Chick from France and Portugal showing some respect and friendship after their heat.  Que bonitoooooooo!!!

Alright amigos, more action tomorrow for the third day of the ISA juniors contest.  Please stay tuned with us.
