Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, June 08, 2011

What is up people?!  This is Eric with the surf report for this Wednesday down here in Nicaragua.  The wind was onshore all day, making for some ugly waves.  We checked out the beach and found some chest to head high surf with choppy conditions.  Nobody out if you wanted to get some!

Eventually, one man paddled out and dropped into a couple waves.  Here he is cutting back on his frontside.

Whaaat!!  Looking down the beach at the mysto wave going off!  Nice right hand point set up that reels all the way to the beach!

We decided to take a cruise around the nearby towns and see if there was anything goin' on.  We found a couple of local kids skateboarding on the dirt road.  This shot is just before he pulled of the 360!

A little further down the road we arrived at the best restaurant in all of Nicaragua!  Yolanda's Cafe (located in the town of limon 2) has some incredible food and the cervezas are always good and cold!

Yolanda comes out and greets everyone who enters her restaurant with a hug and a kiss!  She's a little lady with a big heart!

I ordered my favorite dish (thank's to my man Lucha) , the chicken jalepeno.  If you ever visit here, this plate is a must!

There are some tranquil roads here in Nicaragua.  This one led right from the beach and into the rainforest!

Just last night the NSR crew went to play some ball at a new indoor court (location undisclosed).  Kevin "K-bomb" tried to get a shot off... but Pancho Sanchez wouldn't allow it!

One last look at the mysto wave before we sign off today.  The winds are supposed to fix up in the next day or so, stay tuned with NSR to catch all the action right from the beach!  Stay smooth out there!
