Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, June 07, 2022

Brian Scott

Howdy surfistas and Happy Tuesday!!! Today we had a bunch of rain and thunder off in the far distance, which maybe means the storm is saying bye bye??? (Hopefully)…. but the good news is that the conditions lightened up today and it was actually way less onshore and a little more cleaned up (just a little bit) but it was an improvement! Checkity check it!

You can still see some texture out there on the ope ocean, but the wave faces were pretty nicely groomed, especially compared to the last week or so… here’s Sophie sweeping around the bend with this sweet roundhouse wrap around.

Her man, Bauti doing the same move, but with his own unique style.

Looks fun today EHHHH????

I mean, check out how clean that wave is. Night and day from that last horrible onshore days. There were actually barrels out there today.

And here’s Exhibit B.

It’s only going to get better, as these storms come and go and 99.9% of the time, they’re just some passer-by storms that like to test our chill factor.

Brian Scott

But that’s the good thing about surfing. It takes a lot to bring a surfer down. If you aren’t stoked, then you’re playing in the wrong game! ;)

Brian Scott

Look, even Sophie was trying to get into some of her own barrels too! Yeah Sophie. Trust me, she will charge when it’s ON. . . . so let’s hope we get some legit swell so I can capture her in some deep aqua blue tubos!!!!

Perpetually stoked, the surfers mantra and way to live life by! Sophie saying PEACE OUT ~
