Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, June 07, 2020

Brian Scott

Happy Sunday Fun Day everyone!!! We had some pretty fun waves there this morning. Tide was a bit low, but the water was super glassy and there were some solid head high + waves reeling through…. come on in and check it out!

Brian Scott

Bertie, Bianca and Robin getting ready to head out for their regular family Sunday shred fest!

Brian Scott

Got down to the playa to see this…. I have to say anyone else who checked it early was frothing!

Brian Scott

I’m not quite sure of Hayden was a Parade Marshal in a past life or something. Or maybe he just really loved parades when he was little guy…. all I know is he loves himself some really big Floats!!!

Brian Scott

Mr. Derek, breathing deep on this below sea level drainer with this big bottom turn on the super low tide.

Brian Scott

Ending his mid morning session just in time for his online Sunday Breath-work class, which has usually a huge amount of regular followers

Brian Scott

Glassy and well overhead…? See I wasn’t making it up.

Brian Scott

Bertie showing us how chunky the rights looked around 10:45am

Brian Scott

These are some of the cleanest conditions we’ve had in over a week. Nice turn buddy!!!

Brian Scott

His Daughter, Bianca, had such fun session out there today. Just zoom in and look at her face.

Brian Scott

Complete STOKE!!!!

Brian Scott

Kid brother and up and coming French super grom, Robin has been mastering these waves for a while now. That’s not to say that he’s not well seasoned or well surfed rather from other world class breaks.

Brian Scott

His original home break being Hossegor France, goes to show exactly why he performs in these waves so well!

Brian Scott

Señor Muzzy……….. This is very super special shout out to you if you’re reading the report today. Johnny and Buzz say Hellllloooooo Hermano!!!!

Brian Scott

Everyone who came out to play today was ripping. Josh psyching on the cleanest conditions we’ve all had for way too long.

Brian Scott

And it’s only going to get better (supposedly) this week. Big John, cracking one off the top!!

Brian Scott

When this new south swell that comes in that should be around 205, there should be a lot of lefts (because I think all them goofy footers are tired of all those rights eh? Haha…. AND it should also come with some sick barrels.

Brian Scott

Rutci taking as many right hand barrels as she can.

Brian Scott

With some steeze too, I might add!

Brian Scott

John Gillem, who’s maybe the most happy surfer here out of anyone knowing we potentially have some really good surf with good weather this week isn’t a stranger to navigating usual speed bumps out in the lineup.

Brian Scott

Buzzy taking the right on the same wave that his amigo John took on the left, just going to show that these legends have this place dialed in as you can see they both knew exactly where to be for this A-Frame!

Brian Scott

Mmmmmmmmm - GLASSY!!!!

Brian Scott

Colin snapping it up and parking it under the lip of this little brown cookie monster!

Brian Scott

Jackson on the opposite side throwing down a lot of sugar on his mid morning postre!

Brian Scott

Fellow surf reporter and all around super chill amigo, Chris showing us not only his surf stoke, but also his surf sled arsenal for the next few swells for June! Hope you all had a great weekend. Stay tuned this week to see how things pan out with the new swells that on tap and especially if and how well the off-shores return. Saludos ~
