Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, June 06, 2008

Hi everyone this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” and Mateo “Pledge” with the surf report for today. We were hired by some our clients to take photos of them all day. The waves were shoulder to head high with the occasional bigger set and warm water. The wind was offshore in the morning then by early afternoon it switched to strong onshore. We still got some fun waves. Here is a shot of the lineup of the second place we surfed!

The first shot of the day goes to Bri who was charging all day. She got a ton fun waves and she was surfing really well. Here she is going off the lip on a fun looking left.

This is our new friend Jimmy “Captain Gouge” really laying into this wave. He said has been surfing for 22 years and only has one photo to speak of, well now he has more than he knows what to do with!

This is the next guy of the crew, James, cutting back on a fun little left. He was stoked about surfing this left, but he said he would really like to get on some rights because that’s his bread and butter. So the next waves we surfed James was killing it on the rights till the wind switched.

Here is the leader of the pack Joe about to sneak into a little shack here on this right. This guy was stoked to introduce a few of his friends for the first time to the wonderful Nicaraguan surf.

Alright well here is the group shot of our friends from Ponce Inlet: Joe, James, Bri, and Jimmy. These guys were so excited about the photos from today that they booked us again for Sunday. It was real fun working with you guys today, we are stoked that we get to do it again.

The last shot of the day we have “Captain Gouge” setting up on a great looking left. Alright well the forecast looks really good for Sunday, so we have our fingers crossed that the wind cooperates. That’s it for today, check back!
